Saturday 9/20 - The Edge of Wilderness loop

This morning we awoke to cold temps (31 degrees). After the sun got high enough to warm things up a bit we headed north toward the Canadian border. This was probably our least favorite ride due to the cooler temperature (mid 60's) and a strong wind from the north west. We made our way to a town called Jackman and actually found a nice place to thaw poiut and have lunch, (Smokin Barrels), otherwise there is nothing up here but what I would guess are hunting cabins. Can't imagine why anyone would want to live this far north and remotely.

The view from our campsite this morning.

The colors were beautiful today

They do like their birdhouses!

227 + miles (I added a few more miles onto our trip as my map reading skills still need improvement. 😩
