Hello Green Mountains of Vermont

We left New York and headed to Vermont, crossing Lake Champlain via the bridge at Port Henry. This area was a strong hold during the civil war as it is the narrowest point on the lake. We traveled Northeast initially through rolling hills of farmland. We then climbed the very steep and very winding highways of the Green Mountains. Perhaps we should have heeded the sign that said "Road not recommended for winter driving". We traveled 16 miles to the Appalachian gap at 2356' of elevation. It was a real tester for the big van 😳.
